Welcome! We’re thrilled to have you on board.
You may be a little bit nervous about being a Unit Guider and that’s okay. There are many
people and resources available to help you plan a fun and engaging program for your
unit: you
are not alone.
Make no mistake about it, you are about to embark on an exciting journey; one that will lead
you to the world of great Guiding. And what is great Guiding? It’s giving girls opportunities and experiences that they will take with them into the future.
Your District Commissioner and you will be completing Girl Guides of Canada’s screening process over the next month. When it is complete and you are registered as a Member you
will receive a membership package.
But let’s be realistic: until then you are still planning and carrying out activities for your unit.
This package is to help you do just that.
