The Safe Guide module is designed to provide Unit Guiders with an understanding of the importance of the Safe Guide document and its related polices and procedures. This module will give an overview of risk factors and risk levels, an understanding of the basic concepts of risk management and a process for assessing the risks of specific Guiding activities.

Safe Guide is a mandatory training for all Guiders.

It must be completed within 12 months of a new Guider’s join date. Example: You signed your membership application in September 2009: you must have completed Safe Guide training by September 2010.
