Guiding for girls is divided into five age groups:
Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers.
Girls who are 18 years old and are ready to begin preparation
to become Adult Members are known as Transitioning Members. There is also a newer Branch called Extra Options.
The program is the hands-on means by which
Guiding achieves its Mission and Principles
and lives its ideal of the Promise and Law.
Older girls may assist Guiders in Units.

or just ask another girl who's a member
if they can come along with them to a meeting to check it out.
(Girls bringing potential new members to a
meeting or activity should let their Guider know first.)
