Kwahee Management Committee Volunteer Position:
If being a part of the team that manages the administration of the Provincial Standing Camp
for Guide age girls is something that interests you, read on.
The Kwahee Management Committee is looking for a volunteer to join the team, requirements are:
- To attend regular monthly meetings and share ideas.
- Help with the preparation and distribution of the winter and summer camp information to the camp staff and campers.
- Help with the pre-camp planning, set-up and take down of each camp.
Kwahee camp experience is an asset but not required.
Interprovincial Camping/ Travel Specialist:
The Interprovincial Specialist initiates and publicizes opportunities for girls and adult members of Nova Scotia to travel interprovincially. She ensure an appropriate selection process for the provincially sponsored opportunities is followed and mentors Guiders selected for provincially sponsored opportunities and offers support with preparation and planning as required.
