Girls are encouraged to gain an appreciation of different cultures and develop a commitment to their communities through service projects and special events. Brownies is also a chance for girls to gain confidence by learning skills that they can use in their daily lives; everything from safety and first aid skills to learning about the importance of a healthy life style is covered in the Brownie program.
