Links are women aged 18 to 30 in Nova Scotia
who are encouraged to support Guiding however they can.
Link is a networking opportunity for young women to find out about Guiding opportunities
that fit their schedule, and a place where young women can participate in peer activities.
They are kept updated of opportunities for further involvement in Guiding
by liaising with their Provincial representative
– the Young Adult Member of Council.
Link activities help the transition between Rangers and adult Guiding,
and create an environment for young women to stay involved and connected
with Guiding, even if they don't currently have time to be an active in a Guiding unit.
Link Members are a valuable resource for Guiding, as they often have significant knowledge to contribute from their experience in Senior Branches,
or from their school studies or recent travel experiences.
And to stay in touch there are 2 newsletters for Links:
Golden Link – NS’s Provincial Link newsletter
and Link Connections (found on Member Zone) which is produced by National
and published twice a year for Link Members.
